How does SALIVET PIG work?

SALIVET PIG contains natural salicylates, which, thanks to their anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties, improve the comfort of animals during infections of the digestive and respiratory systems and locomotor system dysfunctions. In practice, it is particularly effective in the case of viral infections. It is also effective in the case of increased mortality in pigs associated with the occurrence of heart attacks and other circulatory system disorders. The preparation can be used in piglets over 14 days of age. The mechanism of action of salicylates is to inhibit cyclooxygenase, which is an enzyme responsible for the production of some inflammatory mediators.
