How does ENTEROCID DUO work?
ENTERPCID DUO is a preparation containing two strains of probiotic bacteria that have a beneficial effect on the digestive tract and immunological processes. They are recommended as a prevention of gastrointestinal microflora imbalance and to rebuild the gastrointestinal microflora after antibiotic therapy. Probiotic bacteria produce digestive enzymes and organic acids that support the digestion and absorption of feed ingredients. Thanks to the ability to create a biofilm on the intestinal mucosa, they limit the colonization of the digestive tract by pathogens and thus help minimize the risk of infection. They also produce bacteriocins, which have antibiotic properties and locally limit the multiplication of pathogens.
