How does MULTI ACTIV work?
MULTI ACTIV is an acidifying preparation that lowers the pH of water in drinking lines and supports the pH balance of the digestive tract contents. It is effective in preventing indigestion and digestive disorders during the feed change period. By using acidifiers, we help limit flock diversification and obtain higher body weights of birds and reduce the FCR coefficient. Acidifiers, thanks to their pH-lowering properties, have a beneficial effect on stimulating the appetite of birds. They influence the secretion of enzymes and digestion processes as well as the absorption of feed ingredients, which reduces the FCR coefficient. In addition, organic and inorganic acids limit the multiplication of pathogens by disturbing their acid-base balance.
