How does GELSTART work?
GELSTART is designed for use in young piglets directly into the snout. It helps minimize the risk of diarrhea and indigestion, supports digestive processes and provides energy components. It is especially recommended for weaker piglets. GELSTART contains butyric acid glycerides, which influence the formation of gastrointestinal structures by affecting the differentiation of intestinal cells and the growth of intestinal villi. In addition, its ingredients support liver function, enzyme secretion and digestion processes of feed ingredients. It contains tannins, which have a beneficial effect on the digestive system of animals, especially during the loss of large amounts of water associated with diarrhea of various etiologies. Tannins have an astringent effect and facilitate the removal of toxins from the body, they also support metabolic processes by stimulating the secretion of digestive enzymes and the assimilation of nutritional compounds. In addition, it contains carnitine and taurine, which support metabolic processes, as well as iron, which is an important element in blood-forming processes.
