        How does SALIVET work?

        SALIVET contains natural salicylates, which, thanks to their anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties, improve the comfort of animals during infections of the digestive and respiratory systems and dysfunctions of the locomotor system. It is also effective in case of heart attacks and other circulatory system disorders. The preparation can be used in birds over 7 days old and piglets over 14 days old. The mechanism of action of salicylates is to inhibit cyclooxygenase, which is an enzyme responsible for the production of some inflammatory mediators.
